Juvenile Delinquency,which is also know
as 'Juvenile Offending' is the act of
participating in unlawful behaviour as a
minor
Most legal systems,such as in the UK
provide 'Specific Procedures' for dealing
with Juveniles.
Such as Juvenile Detention Centres and
Courts,with it being common,that Juvenile
Cases are treated as Civil Cases,

instead of Criminal or a Hybrid thereof,
to avoid certain requirements for Criminal
Case.
Depending on the type and severity of the
offence committed,it is possible for a person
under eighteen years old to be charged and
treated as an adult thus to appear before a
Magistrate instead to answer the charge

grown up in local authority care/
care homes,excluded from the
school system
experienced drugs or alcohol
related abuse or dependencies,
some have mental health issues
or personality disorders
then there is gang related
involvement,leading to
PEER PRESSURE
